Penn State will once again get an early start on the day as the Nittany Lions are set to face Rutgers on November 18. at noon. The game will either air on FOX or FS1 with that detail to be announced at a later date.
The announcement means Penn State will face Rutgers in its seventh noon kick of the year with this weekend’s clash against Michigan also slated for a noon start time. Penn State’s meeting against Michigan State at Ford Field in Detroit to close out the regular season is scheduled for a 7:30 start. That game will air on NBC according to a previous released broadcast schedule. The Nittany Lions’ season opener against West Virginia also aired on NBC.
Penn State currently sits No. 11 in the College Football Playoff Rankings which are scheduled for a weekly release on Tuesday evening. The Nittany Lions also sit at No. 9 in the AP Top 25 at 8-1 on the year coming off a 51-15 victory over Maryland at College Park this past Saturday in Maryland. Penn State has now scored 40 or more points on four occasions over the course of the regular season.
