Penn State men’s basketball added a third member to its 2024 recruiting class on Monday evening as Miles Goodman verbally committed. The 6-foot-10, 220-pound center from Castaic, California prospect is rated the No. 109 player in the country, according to the 247 Network’s Composite rankings.
Goodman is the second player to join Penn State’s 2024 class from Southern California Academy after Penn State picked up the verbal commitment from Goodman’s teammate and combo guard Dominick Stewart in early September. The duo join guard Jahvin Carter in the class, who committed to Penn State in June, not long after new Penn State head coach Mike Rhoades took the job.
Goodman picked Penn State over Washington and also received offers from Cal, Georgetown and TCU among others. The Nittany Lions’ 2024 class is rated No. 35 in the nation according to the 247 Network’s ranking system.
